We help busy Silicon Valley executives find a balance.

Change.
Human beings generally have a love/hate relationship with change.
When we don’t get it, we want it. When it happens, we hate it.

Change is hard. It requires us to pay attention, take action, to think!
Intellectually, we know this is good; but inaction is easier and the known seems safer.
Even if it is bad, it is familiar.

Change is hardest when it is out of our control. Such change can leave us feeling debilitated and helpless.
Even change for the good can be somewhat empty if it was forced upon us or we have no say in it.
However, when we instigate the change, when we voluntarily make changes in our lives, it can be one of the most rewarding experiences in our lives.

In my past, I see the pattern repeated – I’m unhappy and see that a change is needed; but continue on the same path.
A friend of mine once told me, “Do something even if it’s wrong.” This is good advice because even if it is wrong, you overcome the hard part…you’ve changed from what was comfortable. Now, changing from this new circumstance is easier. You haven’t been in it long enough for it to set in and get comfortable. You may see new opportunities that you couldn’t see before.

It is easy to spend years in a job or at a company that is unfulfilling. But this is wasted life.
Annually, we spend about 2000 hours or 250 days at our jobs…and that is assuming a 40-hour work week!
If that time is draining rather than energizing, it is time for a change.
Life coaching can hold you accountable to making that change.
So, if you feel that you need a change…then go for it!
If you need support and guidance, we can help.
